We're putting patients first.

131 hospitals across the province will get new roofs, windows, heating and cooling systems and other essential upgrades to better serve patients and reduce wait times.

It's an investment that builds on our plan for patient care in Ontario.

A plan that also raises hospital budgets across the board, injects a $7 billion boost into the health care system to lower wait times and improve care, and makes prescription medications free for children, youth and seniors.

A Fair, Living Wage For All

$15 an hour - that's what every minimum wage worker deserves.

No one should ever have to choose between putting food on their family's table and paying their rent. A $15 minimum wage will help people who are struggling to make ends meet and it will boost our economy province-wide.

Affordable Child Care

Every child deserves to have the best start in life.

That's why we're introducing free pre-school for kids two-and-a-half years old until they start kindergarten and 100,000 new child care spaces being created right now, this investment will make life more affordable for families and allow more parents to make the choice to go back to work, knowing their child is safe and well cared for.

Free Pharmacare For Children, Youth And Seniors

Over 4 million children and youth now have fair and equal access to prescription medication for free.

And starting next August, anyone 65 or older will be able to present their prescription and OHIP number at any Ontario pharmacy and receive their medication without paying out of pocket.

Supporting People Through A Basic Income

As those participating in the Ontario Basic Income Pilot show us, this is about a lot more than just receiving a cheque. It's about putting food on the table and keeping a roof overhead. It's about better access to education and training opportunities. It's about helping people with mental health and other challenges. And, ultimately, it's about helping people secure a more direct route to a new and well-paying job.

Free Postsecondary Tuition

More than 235,000 people are currently attending a college or university of their choice, tuition free.

Income should never be a barrier to a good education. Not when education is the surest way to a better income.

That's why we eliminated the provincial student debt from families earning less than $50,000 a year and made online textbooks free for every postsecondary student.

We're all in this Together

With an election facing us in June, it's up to you to decide how Ontario moves forward.

We have a real plan to help millions of people get ahead and improve their lives. But we need your help right now so we can continue fighting for workers, students, single parents, seniors, and families.
