Don Valley West is one of the most diverse ridings in Ontario. It includes the neighbourhoods of Bridle Path, Don Mills, Lawrence Park, North Toronto, Leaside, Flemingdon and Thorncliffe Park.
The riding is bordered by Highway 401 to the north and Millwood Road and the Don River to the south. Yonge Street, Broadway Avenue, Eglinton Avenue, Bayview Avenue and Moore Avenue are on the western boundary, and Don Mills Road, the CN Rail line and the east branch of the Don River are on the east.
The riding was created in 1976 as Don Valley and redrawn in 1996 to include part of Don Valley East and a small portion of Rosedale. In 2004, much of the riding remained unchanged.
Population: 117,083 (2006 census; an increase of 1.3% since 2001)
The mandate for the Don Valley West PLA is to represent the interests of all Ontario residents whose issues and ideas make this riding a better place to work and live. Based upon the constitution of the Liberal Party of Ontario:
Our objectives are:

To provide a forum for communication with our MPPs, the Ontario Liberal Party, and the opinions of our members;
To elect, promote, and assist Liberal members of the Legislature;
To adhere to the Constitution of the Ontario Liberal Party; and
To organize in the Ontario electoral district for the Ontario Liberal Party.
Our association website is designed to allow you to easily communicate with the executive members of your Don Valley West PLA ,and to know what events and information are available for your interests.
Volunteering to support our elected and nominated candidates, and fundraising are all important features of the work Ontario Liberals do when the Legislature of Ontario is constituted, and, even more intensely during periods of preparation for the next election or byelection.
Your donations of time, money, and personal enthusiasm and expertise are welcomed anytime. Consider joining our association with an Annual Membership, Recurring ABC Donor subscription, or, just keep in touch with us more informally.
